The Dressing Room is a Leo Award nominated mockumentary comedy series, showing behind the scenes of a fictional musical called Balloon Boy, a show based on the 2009 hoax in Colorado.

Although we never see that ridiculous musical, we see the cast and crew backstage, as they do the best they can to make sure the show goes on every day. It's the underdog spirit of Mighty Ducks, the offstage scheming of The Producers, with the heart of Ted Lasso.

At its core, The Dressing Room explores the universal theme of "the journey, not the destination." While the stakes are high (Broadway dreams! Sabotage! Nervous breakdowns!), the humour is grounded in ridiculous, but true, stories of backstage life, set in the world of a 90s style sitcom, presented in the modern world.

From stolen costumes to the cast getting accidentally high on weed cookies, The Dressing Room is a story about ambition, self-discovery, and the beauty of working as a team—no matter how chaotic the team might be.
